Youth federation in Srinagar area nabs 3 drug peddlers, hands them over to police

The youth federation of Nundreshi Colony in Batamaloo area of Srinagar has caught hold of three drug peddlers from Bemina who were selling drugs among youngsters in the area. The federation later handed over the drug paddlers to SHO Police station Batamaloo.

While talking with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO, president youth federation, Nazir Ahmed said the society is wrapped with these kind of peddlers which are very harmful for the future generation. “We need to check keenly in our surroundings for these culprits and put them behind the bars.”

He said that they caught 3 drug peddlers and one of them is also running a medical shop while two are from housing colony Bemina.

Meanwhile, SHO Batmaloo, Ajaz Ahmed told that they are thankful and appreciate the youth federation for helping them in catching these drug paddlers.

He said that the drug peddlers have been arrested and booked under FIR no 53/2021 8/42. He also appealed to the local youth to cooperate with them in future as well—(KNO)
