Srinagar: Two sibilings, who were earlier tested positive for COVID-19 were discharged from the hospital along with their mother after their re-confirmation tests were turned negative.

Officials at the hospital said that a five and 7-year-old sisters were admitted in the JLNM Rainawari Hospital in Srinagar after they were tested positive for COVID-19.

A medico at the hospital said that the siblings were discharged from the hospital today along with their mother, who was COVID-19 negative but stayed with her children in quarantine.

The re-confirmation tests of all the three were found negative today and thus they were discharged.

The sisters were residents of Azad Basti Natipora area of Srinagar city. They were tested positive after coming into contact with their grandfather who had a travel history of Saudi Arabia. (KNT)
