Srinagar: Three persons including husband-wife duo sustained injuries while a house got damaged in gas cylinder blast in Gassi Mohalla area of Safa Kadal in Srinagar on Friday morning.

The gas cylinder exploded at Khazir Ahmad Sofi’s house this morning when he along with his wife Saleema and a paying guest identified as Bashir Ahmad were sitting at his home, reported wire service KNO.

Family sources said the trio sustained injuries and were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment, adding that one among the injured Khazir Ahmad has been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment. They said two others are still undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The family sources further informed that their one-storey residential house got fully damaged in the blast. (KNO)
