Srinagar: Two siblings from Muhammad Pora village of Kulgam district have been missing for the last three days and their family has appealed to the government to help them in tracing their loved ones.

“Younis Ahmad Dar, 26, and his brother Faisal Hassan Dar, 18, loaded their truck bearing registration No (JK03D-7806) on 14th of November and left for Kanpur,” their cousin, Rahil Bashir told a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO). He said that till 18th November “we were in contact with them.”

Bashir said that since 18 November, they are continuously trying to make contact with their siblings but their phones are coming repeatedly off. “We received their last call on 18th November as they told us they are coming back,” he said.

He said that “we have tried every friend, drivers of our locality but couldn’t get any clue about them.”

The family members of the missing duo have requested officials to help them in tracing the duo as they are very much worried about their well-being.

A senior police official when contacted said that “we are yet to receive any written complaint in this regard.”—(KNO)
