Srinagar: Twelve travelers were among 113 fresh COVID-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last twenty-four hours, officials said on Tuesday evening. Also, one more person succumbed to the virus, taking the fatality count to 1923 in J-K.
Giving breakup of the cases, the officials told a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS) that 53 were from Jammu Division and 60 from Kashmir Valley.
Regarding the cases, Srinagar reported 37 cases, Baramulla (5), Budgam (7), Pulwama (4), Kupwara (2), Anantnag (0), Bandipora (1), Ganderbal (0), Kulgam (2), Shopian (2), Jammu (40), Udhampur (0), Rajouri (0), Doda (0), Kathua (1), Samba (2), Kishtwar (1), Poonch (7), Ramban (2) and Reasi (0).
Meanwhile, 120 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals — 52 from Jammu and 68 from Kashmir Valley.
With this, the number of active positive cases has reduced to 1103— 396 in Jammu and 707 in Kashmir. (GNS)
