Srinagar: First case of coronavirus was confirmed of Indian Army man in Ladakh.

According to a report the Indian Army man from Ladakh Scouts yesterday tested positive for the COVID-19. The army man’s father had returned from pilgrimage in Iran which is ravaged by the virus as the country battles harsh US sanctions .

His father has also tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

He is being given treatment while his family, including his sister and wife, have been put in a quarantine in Ladakh.
