Srinagar: On the fourth day of searches on Saturday, government forces established contact with militants, leading to a gunfight at Rangdori Behak area along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

According to reports, choppers were also seen hovering over the forest area to track down the militants. “A fresh contact was established near Rangdori Behak and exchange of fire was going on when reports last came in,” sources said.
