The bodies of COVID-19 victims are being cremated in a parking lot in Haryana’s Faridabad city as the crematoriums have ran out of space, reported NDTV.

The bodies of people infected with the virus as well as others who have died are being burnt in the parking lot which is located in a residential area near the National Institute of Technology Faridabad. As per the reports, about 25 bodies have been burnt in the last 24 hours.

When the dead bodies were coming hourly in the local crematorium of Faridabad, as per the reports of NDTV, it ran out of space and the crematorium authorities decided to burn the dead bodies in the parking lot.

The tragic visuals from almost every state of India are doing rounds on social media wherein dead bodies are being burnt or the patients just lying down outside the hospital, waiting to die without treatment.

Across the country, the situation remains grim as over the past week, due to the unavailability of medical oxygen in hospitals many COVID-19 patients died.

With 2,104 fatalities, India has recorded 3.14 lakh fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the highest single-day count in any country so far.
