Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday reported 91 cases of the COVID-19 infections on Tuesday, taking the overall number of cases to 1759. However sources said that
at least one case might be a repeat and would be clarified shortly. Also, they said, more cases may be added up particularly from private labs.


Among the cases, they said, 54 are of them are from Jammu and remaining from Kashmir division.  

Dr. Salim Khan, nodal officer for COVID-19 at the Government Medical College Srinagar told that out of the 590 samples tested at microbiology laboratory at CD hospital here, 25 returned positive for the virus and nine of them were repeat (of previous patients).

Principal SKIMS Medical College, Bemina, Dr Riyaz Untoo, told that out of 471 samples tested, 19 retuned positive and include 12 from Budgam, six from Srinagar and one pertains to a resident from Kathua. (GNS)
