Srinagar: 9 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir; among them eight are from Kashmir and one from Jammu.
The government’s spokesperson, Rohit Kansal, confirmed that the tally in Union Territory rose to 350. “Some respite but no reason for complacency,” said Kansal in a tweet. He also added that now the breakup of total cases in J-K is: 55 in Jammu and 295 in Kashmir.
Till Friday, 60,419 people in J-K were under observation; among them, 6,071 people were under home quarantine, 285 people were in hospital isolation, and 252 people were under hospital quarantine.
Also, 23,114 people have completed surveillance period and 25,692 persons are under home surveillance. Besides that, out of 6,937 samples tested, 6,596 were negative and 341 were tested positive.
