Srinagar: While a number of people have expressed solidarity with the detained former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abduallah after his photo from jail became viral on social media, the  BJP on the contrary has trolled the National Conference leader.

BJP Tamil Nadu shared a screenshot of an online order of razors with the delivery address of the NC vice president’s Srinagar home.

With the screenshot, the tweet also said, “Dear@OmarAbdulla, Its very disheartening to see you like this while most of your corrupt friends are enjoying life outside. Kindly accept our sincere contribution, in case of any assistance feel free to contact ur counterpart @INCIndia for further help in this regard (sic)”.

This comes aftr DMK president M. K. Stalin said that he was deeply troubled to see a photograph of National Conference leader Omar Abdullah in which he can be seen sporting an unkempt long beard and demanded the Centre immediately release all leaders in detention in Jammu and Kashmir.

Stalin while taking to his Twitter handle demanded his release and said “Deeply troubled to see this picture of @OmarAbdullah” and tagged three images of the Kashmiri leader.

“Equally concerned about Farooq Abdullah, @MehboobaMufti & other Kashmiri leaders who are incarcerated without trial or due process. Union Govt must immediately release all political prisoners and restore normalcy in Valley,” he tweeted.

Earlier on Saturday,a  photograph of detained former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah took social media by a storm with some prominent faces sharing the image.

The image that became viral on social media earlier has the junior Abdullah sporting a long grey unkempt beard. The image appeared to be recently clicked as is evident through the falling snow. He can be seen smiling in the picture.
