India might have been knocked out of the tournament by New Zealand, former India Spinner Bishan Singh Bedi however while taking a dig at BJP has said that India can still make it to the finals of world cup.

Taking to his Twitter, the former legend who is known for his no nonsense attitude said,”Meanwhile BJP is in touch with New Zealand team..who have reportedly agreed to resign & join team India..who will then play in the Finals at Lord’s..!!” He wrote.

Bedi’s tweet was in reference to a series of political events in India where the ruling BJP has been able to form governments despite losing elections.

Bedi played Test cricket for India from 1966 to 1979 and formed part of the famous Indian spin quarted.

He played a total of 67 Tests and took 266 wickets. He also captained the national side in 22 Test matches.
