Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed disappointment after the Indian team crashed out of the world cup following their defeat to New Zealand in the semi finals.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Modi said that it was good to see fighting spirit of the Indian team throughout the world cup as they worked hard till the end,”A disappointing result, but good to see

Earlier, India crashed to an 18-run defeat to New Zealand in the semi-final of the 2019 Cricket World Cup despite a heroic 77 by Ravindra Jadeja.
The trio of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul flopped in a run chase of 240 as Matt Henry and Trent Boult ripped apart the Indian top order.
India were playing for a spot in their 4th World Cup final but at the end of the day, New Zealand stormed to their second successive title clash.
