JKDFP remembers Qazi Nisar on anniversary, pays tributes

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has paid rich and glowing tributes to Islamic Scholar and Ummat-e-Islami Chief, Dr Qazi Nisar Ahmad on his anniversary. Dr Qazi Nisar Ahmad, one of the founders of Muslim United Front (MUF) was martyred on June 19, 1994.

Paying glowing tributes to the Qazi, the JKDFP Spokesperson said in a statement that Dr Qazi Nisar was a great religious scholar and a patriot who always laid emphasis on the unity of Ummah. The contribution of Qazi Nisar in the freedom movement is unparalleled.

The JKDFP spokesperson vowed to take the mission of all martyrs to its logical conclusion. He said that JKDFP incarcerated chief, Shabir Shah has a great regard for every martyr and he always used to say that great nations never forget their martyrs.

JKDFP described Qazi Nisar as a great leader who strived for safeguarding the Muslim identity of Kashmir. Qazi Nisar’s struggle and sacrifices cannot be ignored by anyone and today we express our gratitude and love for the noble soul.

Meanwhile, JKDFP Spokesperson expressed deep grief and sorrow over the recent ‘martyrdoms’ of brave youth in different parts of Kashmir.

The party said that government forces are on a mission to implement the agenda of New Delhi which is to terrorize the people of Kashmir so that they will not raise their voice. (KNS)
