Srinagar: In a major development state’s 5000 Sarpanchs and Panchs led by All Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat Conference president Shafiq Mir on Friday joined hands with Khawaja Farooq Renzushah’s Kashmir Society International (KSI) and J&K Development here, a press statement said.

During a meeting held here, both Renzushah and Shafiq Mir committed to work for the overall development of all the three regions of the State viz. Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. They said that they will work under one banner and shall apply non-political approach in their developmental agenda so that people of the State are not fooled by pro-Pakistan, pro-separatist and other agendas. Coming down heavily on a section of Kashmir-based political leaders, both Renzushah and Mir said that for the last 7 decades, all “dirty methods” have been employed to get votes of public particularly through boycotts and violence. “They are responsible for the deaths of hundreds of our children and they owe the reply to the people of Kashmir,” they said.

“We believe that violence is disaster for the development of the State. The State (J&K), having great spiritual, Aitqaad and Sufi background based on mutual love and brotherhood can be saved from further destruction only if the activities of the section of political parties are halted for the time being,” they further said. Meanwhile, the Panchayat Conference chairman Shafiq Mir assured Renzu Shah of full support of his entire cadre for the overall development of the State
