30 killed in Nigeria as suicide bombers target fans watching football match

At least 30 people have been killed while 40 others were injured in a suicide attack in north-eastern Nigeria, as they were watching football on television.

According to BBC, the bombers detonated their explosives outside a hall in Konduga, Borno State, where football fans were watching a match on television.

Militant group Boko Haram is being blamed for the attack, though it has not claimed responsibility for it.

It has frequently carried out bomb attacks in the state.

The group has claimed 27,000 lives and forced some two million people to flee their homes.
