20-yr-old allegedly beaten up by army in Budgam, shifted to SMHS

Adil Nazir, a 20-year-old resident of Pakherpora area of Budgam, central Kashmir, has been allegedly beaten up by 53 RR army personnel on late Saturday evening.

Mr. Nazir, son of Nazir Ahmad Ganai, a resident of Check-e-Karapora, a carpenter by profession has been referred to SMHS hospital from sub-district hospital Pakherpora.

“Aadil was on way to his home when he was stopped by 53 RR personnel at Shankerpora Pakherpora, who beat him ruthlessly. He was shifted to SDH Pakherpora for treatment and then referred to Srinagar,” said one of his attendant at SDH Pakherpora.
