Special prayers on Sufi Saint Khawaja Naqashband’s anniversary
In the Kashmir region of the disputed Jammu and Kashmir, Muslims offer special prayers outside the shrine of Sufi Saint Khwaja Naqashband in Srinagar. Thousands of Kashmiri Muslims congregated at the shrine, on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, on the death anniversary of the saint and offered prayers in a three-day festival that concluded Wednesday.
